Challenges are a huge part of life. Usually, for most people, when they are in the middle of the challenges of life, they find it hard to see the blessings that will come from those challenges. We tend to be people who live in the now. By doing so, we often times miss out on great opportunities to learn. The Lord is kind enough to bless our lives by giving us challenges. Most of the greatest lessons I have learned in my life, were a result of being able to look back at the tough times in my life and see the growth I was able to attain because I had been given a challenge.

One of the best things about challenges is, we usually make it through and can out them behind us. Because of this, we are able to always see that even when in the midst of a struggle, there will be good to come our way again. Some challenges we may never truly overcome, and we may wonder why we are tasked with them, but recognizing that all we have, good and bad, is because the Lord loves us may help us to better understand and seek to learn. They never said it would be easy, but they said it would be worth it! (whoever “they” are)

When I think about the perfect master, I think about the Savior. He dedicated his life to others as well as ensuring that he accomplished all the Father asked of him.  We are here on the same earth with many of the same tasks being asked of us. What are we doing to emulate the Savior? To continually work on mastering the tasks of life that we will need to be successful in this journey. We must take a step back from where we are, assess the situation and see what we can do to be more diligent in our living. Waking up each day as though it was on purpose and that we are excited to have been blessed to learn another day. This style of life will not only help us to be happier, but also better in all we do and better servants of the Lord.
