When I think about the
perfect master, I think about the Savior. He dedicated his life to others as
well as ensuring that he accomplished all the Father asked of him.
We are here on the same
earth with many of the same tasks being asked of us. What are we doing to
emulate the Savior? To continually work on mastering the tasks of life
that we will need to be successful in this journey. We must take a step back
from where we are, assess the situation and see what we can do to be more diligent
in our living. Waking up each day as though it was on purpose and that we are
excited to have been blessed to learn another day. This style of life will not
only help us to be happier, but also better in all we do and better servants of
the Lord. We must not fall for the claim that we can accomplish hard things with
minimal work, or with minimal sacrifice. All good things come to those who work
for it. When we put aside the worlds view of instant gratification and
recognize that hard work and sacrifice are gifts of the Lord, we can learn to
love the journey.
The journey will be tough,
but it will be worth it.
